Kalama Falls Hike

On Friday, September 14, 2012 I got up early to go on a trip with our son David to Kalama Falls. I took a picture of the sunrise on the North Fork Lewis River by our house. We drove up to the turn off for Merrill Lake and drove about 6.8 miles and parked by a road on the left side because the gate was locked. We walked about a mile and a half. At that point we could here the falls loud and clear. We than walked through the woods to the beautiful Kalama Falls. I also took a picture of David beside a magnificent old Douglas Fur Tree. The trip was awesome.
